September sees the influx of some of the best music festival

You might think that things start to wind down in September as autumn begins to set in, but you would be wrong - things are just starting to heat up on the international music festival circuit.

From the biggest names in music right now to more niche EDM performers and high energy DJs, this September is set to be a busy one for music lovers around the world.

September 1 - 3: Electric Picnic 2023

Location: Laois, Ireland

Not your average picnic, revellers can expect three days of big names like Billie Eilish, The Killers and Fred Again.. hitting the stage at Ireland's largest camping music festival. With an eclectic mix of musicians from Tom Odell and Jamie XX to 1980s star Rick Astley, this is a music festival unlike any other, and it is also family friendly.

September 9 - 10: Lollapalooza Berlin

Location: Berlin, Germany

A European spin off of the original Chicago concert, Lollapalooza is coming to Berlin with a fantastic line up of musicians: Jason Derulo, David Guetta, Ava Max, Mumford and Sons, Macklemore and Lost Frequencies.

Location: Paris, France

Into techno, trance or bass music? If the answer is yes, this is the music festival for you. With six different stages, Dream Nation will host an array of music acts from around the world such as Nina Kraviz, Sefa, Wilkinson and BillX to name a few.

September 16 - 17: ULTRA Japan

Location: Tokyo, Japan

ULTRA is known around the world as the culmination of the best EDM acts, and ULTRA Japan will be no different. The line up includes the incredibly popular Peggy Gou alongside DJ Snake, Adam Beyer and regular headliner, Skrillex.

Location: AlUla, Saudi Arabia
