Does summer in Europe sound like something you'd love to do? Well, its now just become easier to have your very own Euro-Summer.

The term 'Euro-Summer' has been coined by those in the know on travel side of TikTok, which is more commonly referred to as TravelTok. Euro-Summer involves visiting various destinations within in Europe whilst whole heartedly embracing the low-key, luxury lifestyle; shopping in cute towns, enjoying lazy days at the beach, indulging in the fresh and flavourful dishes of the Mediterranean countries and relaxing in the warm weather.

Now having your own Euro-Summer experience is about to get easier this year with a selection of new European route, to popular destinations have been announced by Saudia.

This summer, Saudia will extend their European routes to include three new destinations. Those planning to travel with Saudia to Europe this summer will now have the option to visit Nice in the South of France, the ancient city of Athens in Greece and the beachside Spanish city of Malaga.

These newly announced routes will be serviced with direct flights.

France

Route: Riyadh to Nice

Flight Time: Approx 6 hours

Flight Availability: From June 7

Nearby Destinations: Ideal for anyone hoping to travel to luxe riviera destinations of Antibes, Cannes, Èze, St Tropez or Monaco.

Nice sits on the southeastern edges of France, along the iconic French Riviera, also known as the Côte d'Azur. Perched on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, the city is nestled between the sea and the foothills of the Alps, offering stunning coastal views and a warm, enjoyable Mediterranean climate.

Nice is loved for its luxurious, yeet laid back ambiance and is known to be the chosen vacation destination of celebrities from around the world. In 2021, the city was recognised as a UNESCO Heritage Site.

Luxury Hotels: Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel, Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel and arguably the city's most iconic hotel, Le Negresco (which has recently been renovated) each offer guests unrivalled sea views and ultra-luxe settings. Route: Jeddah to Athens

Nearby Destinations: Ideal for those looking to go island hopping, ferry services visit island locations such as Hydra, Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini for example.

Athens is the Greek capital city, bordered by the Saronic Gulf and inland from the Aegean Sea. With a rich history, Athens remains a hub of trade and culture, where history lives alongside the every day humdrum. Despite being a busy port city, Athens is a much-loved destination for history buffs, as the capital is home to landmark, historic locations such as the ancient site of the Acropolis, the Theatre of Herodes Atticus and the Temple of Poseidon, each is a landmark ancient site with much significance in both Greek and European culture and history.

Spain

Route: Riyadh to Malaga

Nearby Destinations: Closest airport for anyone hoping to visit smaller seaside towns such as Estepona, Marbella, Nerja, Puerto Banus or the cooler, more mountainous town of Mijas.

The south of Spain is often under-rated, in favour of the south of France, but now Andalusia is more accessible than ever with the introduction of this direct flight from Riyadh to Malaga. Situated on the aqua blue shores of the Mediterranean Sea, the city is rich in history, surrounded by mountain ranges and gorgeous sea views.
