This week, we're looking at some new spots in Riyadh that you probably haven't tried yet!

Morning Coffee (at a new cafe you haven't tried before!)

Where: Chèrie

First things first, a morning coffee. For us a morning coffee is a non-negotiable, but we really love to discover new places. Chèrie is a brand new cafe opened in the Olaya area of the city, with ultra-Instagrammable interiors – think industrial chic minimalism.

Pistachio Candy Floss French Toast

Where: Crome London

Famed for their menu of French Toast dishes, Crome has arrived in Riyadh straight from London. Whether you're after a savoury dish like Eggs Benedict French Toast or Smashed Avo French Toast, or you prefer something sweet - there is no shortage of choice on this menu. We love anything pistachio, so our choice this week would be Pistachio French Toast topped with Persian candy floss.

Cookie Stuffed Croissant

Where: Chestnut Bakery

These cookie stuffed croissants have been all over our social feeds recently, and we just have to try it! Straight from London, another recent opening Chestnut Bakery is serving up dozens of these glorious treats; sugary, gooey, fudgey chocolate chip cookie dough is baked into velvety, buttery layers of croissant – sounds delicious to us.

Truffle Hamachi Crispy Rice

Where: White Robata

Truffle? Crispy rice? Ponzu dipping sauce? Say less, we're going to be there. Another relatively new opening for the city, White Robata is located in the Laysen Valley district and is serving up 'progressive' American-Japanese style robata and sushi dishes, alongside some other fusion delights.

Wholesome, Hearty Italian-American Chicken Parm

Where: Jon & Vinny's

A brand new opening in Riyadh (just this week!), Jon & Vinny's is serving up Italian-American favourites. Of course there's the thick crust pizzas, and the hearty bowls of pasta, but its the Italian-American classic dish of Chicken Parmesan Pomodoro is on our need-to-eat list this week.

Smoky Mocktail

Where: House of Grill

The House of Grill is new addition the fine-dining scene in the capital, the culinary haven aims to be reminiscent of the Great Gatsby era of lavish soirées and vibes of the roaring twenties. And these smoking mocktails really work with that theme, and our Insta-feed!
