Restaurants and cafes in Riyadh are participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month in various ways, whether through menus whose proceeds go to charitable causes or by offering pink dishes as a message of awareness and solidarity.
The month-long, annual initiative aims to increase public awareness about breast cancer; helping women to identify the symptoms, promoting early detection, and encouraging women to get regular mammograms. A hashtag has been launched in the Kingdom: #StayAheadWithOneStep, which is the initiative launched by the Zahra Breast Cancer Association during its breast cancer awareness campaign this year.
Here’s a list of restaurants and cafes that are sharing special menus and dishes for the month of October as a way to bring awareness to the cause.
