TWG Tea, the world’s leading luxury tea brand, has expanded its presence in the Middle East with a dual launch: the opening of its first Boutique & Takeaway destination in Abu Dhabi, in addition to the debut of a bilingual e-commerce platform tailored for the GCC.

This new opening in Abu Dhabi at The Galleria Al Maryah Island marks the brand’s third UAE location and its 85th globally. TWG Tea’s other UAE boutiques are located in two of Dubai’s premier shopping destinations: Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.

The newest TWG Tea destination, and the first in Abu Dhabi is a 1,300-square-foot boutique. A refined space designed for both seasoned tea connoisseurs and curious newcomers, it offers TWG Tea’s signature blends, rare harvests, and the brand’s elevated Takeaway Tea concept, bringing a curated tea experience to one of the region’s most vibrant capitals.

Alongside the boutique, TWG Tea introduces a fully immersive Arabic-English website that reimagines luxury tea retail for the digital age. The platform blends storytelling, intuitive navigation, and interactive design, allowing users across the GCC to explore over 1,000 teas through a multi-sensory journey. From cinematic short films to virtual tours of TWG Tea’s flagship in Singapore, the site invites visitors into a world where tea is not just a beverage, but a cultural experience.

The boutique itself is a study in elegance. Signature hues, sculptural lighting, and gilded teapots create a serene atmosphere that elevates the ritual of tea drinking. The Takeaway Tea offering includes over 100 blends, served hot or iced in beautifully designed carriers, complete with a reusable glass straw and white sugar stick, merging sustainability with sophistication.

The new digital platform, now shipping across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, introduces three immersive spaces: Tea Innovation, Tea Origins, and TWG Tea in 360°. These virtual environments celebrate craftsmanship, heritage, and the artistry behind every blend. Features like Tea Finder and Compare Tea make navigating the extensive catalogue effortless, while downloadable content extends the brand’s aesthetic into everyday life.

Founded in Singapore in 2008, TWG Tea is known for sourcing directly from origin gardens and crafting seasonal blends in collaboration with renowned estates.
