The professional wrestling entertainment company is set to bring a full weekend of adrenalin-fuelled, high-octane and drama packed action to Saudi Arabia as the federation returns to the Kingdom Arena with WWE Night of Champions.
The WWE Night of Champions will take centre stage, or rather, centre ring at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Saturday, June 28. And in a historic first, Friday Night SmackDown will also air live from the same venue on Friday, June 27, marking its debut broadcast from the Saudi capital. WWE legends John Cena and Cody Rhodes appear in the preview, perhaps hinting at a pretty promising and stellar line up of stars.
Organised in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), this 2-day wrestling extravaganza marks the continued and successful partnership between WWE and Saudi Arabia.
SmackDown will air on USA Network in the U.S., while Night of Champions will stream on Peacock, with both events also available globally on Netflix, including in Saudi Arabia.
WWE’s Royal Rumble will take over the capital city in January 2026, marking the first time the iconic event is hosted outside of North America. As part of Riyadh Season, the announcement reflects both WWE’s international ambitions and the Kingdom’s strategic push to become a premier global entertainment destination.
Riyadh Season 2025 is expected to return even bigger and better later this year, offering new themed zones, an array of concerts, indulgent and global culinary experiences, in addition to world-class entertainment and events.
