Red Sea Film International Festival tickets go on sale ahead of December launch

The Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) has officially opened its box office, allowing the public to purchase tickets for the highly anticipated fifth edition, which runs from December 4 to December 13 in Jeddah's historic Al Balad district.

Available to purchase online, the release of tickets signals the final countdown to the ten-day cultural event, inviting local and international audiences to secure their seats for a diverse program of global and regional premieres.

Tickets are priced to ensure broad accessibility, with standard individual screening tickets starting at SAR 50. Special event tickets, including the opening and closing galas, or masterclasses with esteemed filmmakers, will be priced higher. Screenings will take place at various state-of-the-art venues across Jeddah, most notably the festival’s main hub cinema and locations within the atmospheric, historic Al Balad district, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Giant

Among the films generating the most excitement is the opening night feature, "Giant." This boxing biopic, which tells the story of Prince Naseem Hamed, will have its MENA debut at the festival. Another film set to draw in cinephiles is the film Desert Warrior, which follows the courageous Princess Hind (Aiysha Hart) as she escapes the ruthless Sassanid Emperor Kisra (Sir Ben Kingsley) and his mercenary (Sharlto Copley) to unite feuding tribes against the invading Sassanid military, leading to the historic Battle of Ze Qar alongside a mysterious bandit (Anthony Mackie).

Whilst filmmaker Alice Winocour's poignant drama Couture, is set during Paris Fashion Week, intricately weaves together the stories of three women — an American film director (Angelina Jolie) facing a cancer diagnosis, a South Sudanese model (Anyier Anei), and a dedicated seamstress (Garance Marillier) — whose lives intersect amid the industry's glamorous yet intense backdrop.
