Saudi Arabia's first TWG Tea Salon and Boutique opened in Riyadh's Solitaire Mall on February 1, and List was the first to try visit. Those in-the-know will already be aware that TWG Tea Salon & Boutique is a global luxury teahouse celebrated for its vast collection of over 1,000 single-estate harvests and handcrafted blends, served alongside elegant, tea-infused gastronomy in a signature gold-and-brass setting.

February 1 - 3: Sneaker Con 2026
Sneaker Con makes its debut in Jeddah, following a successful visit to Riyadh in January. Marking the first time the "Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth" landed in the coastal city, the three-day event transforms the waterfront into a high-energy marketplace where thousands of enthusiasts gathered to buy, sell, and swap rare grails and the latest streetwear drops in the legendary Trading Pit.
February 4 - 7: LIV Golf Riyadh
A season opener for the LIV Golf tournament, LIV Golf takes over the Riyadh Golf Club from February 4 to 7. This year’s tournament marks a major evolution for the league, premiering the first-ever 72-hole, four-round format and an expanded field of 57 players. The extraordinary night golf spectacle is a fan favourite int the golfing world, with all eyes on new comers Thomas Detry and Elvis Smylie, and also on the game's most established giants , Jon Rahm and Bryson de Chambeau as to who will win the first trophy of the season.

February 4 - 7: LIV Golf After-Play Concerts
Aside from internationally renowned top golfers going head-to-head in one of the most exciting golf championships in the world, the After-Play concert series is a much-anticipated part of the LIV Golf season opener. This year’s season concert series line up features a heavy-hitting selection of international headliners, including Akon, Tyga and DJ Pausa, performing live after each evening of elite night golf.

February 5 & 6: Freaks of Nature - Weekend 1
The seventh edition of Freaks of Nature, titled Freakyard, is taking over the MDLBEAST Soundstorm site in Banban, Riyadh. On February 5, the opening night will feature music heavyweights Alesso, ARTBAT, and Hot Since 82, supported by artists like Brooks, Kream, and Third Party. On the second night, February 6, the energy shifts towards massive spectacle with a headline set from the legendary Eric Prydz: he is joined by Italian trio Meduza and Future Rave pioneer MORTEN.

February 7 & 8: AlFurasan Endurance Race AlUla
The AlFursan Endurance Cup returns to AlUla for its seventh edition over the course of the weekend. It is renowned as one of the most prestigious and gruelling equestrian events on the global calendar. Sanctioned by the FEI, the competition features more than 300 elite riders from over 66 countries navigating the rugged, ancient desert terrain in a test of stamina and horse-rider synergy. The event is split into two flagship races: a 120km race for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup — which offers a staggering SAR 15 million prize pool — and a challenging 160km race, both serving as critical build-up for the upcoming 2026 FEI World Endurance Championships.
February 6 - 22: Winter Olympic Games
Representing a major milestone for the Kingdom’s winter sports program, the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee has officially confirmed that two athletes will compete at the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The Winter Games take place between February 6 to 22, and during this time Team Saudi will be represented by alpine skier Fayik Abdi and cross-country skier Rakan Alireza, marking a historic step as Saudi Arabia expands its presence on the global Olympic stage.

As part of Riyadh Season, Premier Padel P1 is set to serve as the electrifying season opener for the 2026 Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour. The tournament brings the world's most elite padel players to the Padel Rush Arena in Boulevard City. February 10: International Day of the Arabian Leopard
Observed annually on February 10, the International Day of the Arabian Leopard is a global call to action to save one of the world’s most critically endangered big cats. Officially designated by the United Nations in 2023 following an initiative by Saudi Arabia, the day highlights the plight of a species whose population has dwindled to fewer than 200 individuals in the wild. Leadership in these conservation efforts is driven by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), which manages a highly successful breeding program that has more than doubled the captive population to over 30 leopards, including the birth of historic triplets in 2024.

February 22: Saudi Founding Day
One of the Kingdom's newest national day celebrations, Saudi Founding Day commemorates the historical establishment of the First Saudi State in 1727 by Imam Muhammad bin Saud. Distinct from National Day (which celebrates the 1932 unification), this day honours the Kingdom’s deep-rooted heritage and three centuries of political stability that began in the ancient city of Diriyah. Often celebrated with special dining experiences and fire work shows, this is a day that has become much-loved by the Saudi public.

February 22: Saudi Founding Day Celebrations at Qasr Al-Hukm
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the Emirate of Riyadh Province are marking Saudi Founding Day with a vibrant evening of celebrations at the recently reopened, historic Qasr Al-Hukm in Old Riyadh. The festivities offer an immersive journey through the Kingdom's heritage, featuring a dedicated Founding Day exhibition that chronicles the history of Saudi Arabia alongside a stirring live performance of the traditional Saudi Ardah. Visitors can explore various interactive cultural zones, including hands-on workshops for handicrafts, falconry displays, and photography booths, as well as specialised areas to learn the Ardah, try on traditional Saudi attire, and enjoy a dedicated space for children.

he seventh edition of the Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium is currently transforming Riyadh’s iconic Tahlia Street into a sprawling open-air studio. Visitors can explore a diverse collection of monumental works created by 25 local and international artists using Saudi granite and, for the first time, reclaimed metals. While the live sculpting phase concluded on February 5, the finished masterpieces remain on public display as part of an immersive exhibition that will eventually see these sculptures permanently installed across the capital.
