The vast, dramatic landscapes of Qiddiya are rapidly evolving into a canvas for Saudi Arabia’s ambitious future. At the heart of this transformation lies Qiddiya City, a monumental project envisioned as the global capital of entertainment, sports, and culture.

Within this burgeoning metropolis, a new landmark is preparing to welcome the world: Six Flags Qiddiya next month.

The sprawling theme park is structured into several distinct themed lands or zones, each a unique world waiting to be explored. Twenty eight thrill rides and attractions have been confirmed to open within these six themed zones. This includes Falcon's Flight, which is set to be the signature ride and the park's centrepiece thrill: a roller coaster engineered for ultimate performance, securing its place as the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest. This coaster is set to be a favourite as it is capable of reaching speeds up to 250 km/h, the ride is designed to deliver a sensation of unparalleled, high-velocity adrenaline.

Six Flags Qiddya: Opening Date

Six Flags Qiddiya is designed to be a crown jewel of Qiddiya City, offering an expansive and diverse array of attractions and thrill rides. 

Slated to open on New Year's Eve of this year, Six Flags Qiddiya won't merely be a collection of thrill rides; it is set to be an immersive journey crafted with meticulous detail, where cutting-edge technology and imaginative storytelling converge to offer an experience unlike any other in the region. Thrill seekers should mark their calendars for the opening of the much-anticipated and futuristic theme park on Wednesday December 31, 2025, coinciding with the Kingdom's New Year's Eve celebrations.

According to comments on the official Instagram page, all rides will be open and available to guests from December 31, 2025. More than just an amusement park, it stands as a testament to the Kingdom’s commitment to redefining luxury leisure, and the Six Flags brand first international destination.

Six Flags Qiddiya: How much are tickets?

Alongside the confirmed opening date, it was announced that tickets are also officially on sale via the official Six Flags Qiddya website. 

At the time of writing, only single entry tickets are available to purchase, with prices starting from SAR325 per adult. These tickets are valid for 1 day of your choice, and are single entry only. Access to all theme park rides and attractions are included in this ticket choice.

  • Single Day Ticket Adult - SAR325, visitors over 12 years
  • Single Day Ticket Child - SAR275, visitors between 3 - 11
  • Single Day Ticket Saudi Senior Citizen - SAR75, visitors over the age of 60, National ID is required upon entry
  • Persons of Determination - SAR75, available at park with a valid disability card
  • Companion (POD) - SAR75, available at park with valid ID when accompanying POD with valid ticket
  • Companion (Nanny) - SAR75, available at park with valid Iqama when accompanying child
  • Children under 3 can enter for free

Other Important Details - Height Restrictions & Opening Hours

Out of the 28 planned attractions, four of the highest-thrill experiences enforce strict height restrictions. Guests must meet the following minimum requirements for entry: Falcons Flight (above 120 cm), Sirocco Tower (above 120 cm), Spitfire (above 130 cm), and Gyrospin (above 135 cm).

Six Flags Qiddiya City will be open from Saturday to Wednesday from 4pm to midnight, whilst on Thursdays and Fridays themepark enthusiasts will be able to enjoy an extra hour of fun as the park remains open from 4pm - 1am. Operating hours may vary occasionally during special and seasonal events, and for school groups, but guests are encouraged to follow the official social media accounts to be kept in the loop.
