As Saudi Arabia continues on its trajectory towards sporting centre of the world, it has been confirmed that the high-stakes tennis event, The Six Kings Slam, is set to return to the Kingdom's capital again later this year.
One of the most prestigious exhibition tournaments in global tennis and in the Kingdom, is set to return to Riyadh from October 15 to 18, 2025, as part of the opening events of the Riyadh Season 2025 festivities. Hosted by the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and spearheaded by His Excellency Chairman of the GEA, Turki Alalshikh, the much-anticipated sporting event will once again bring together the top six tennis players in the PIF ATP rankings for a high-stakes showdown on indoor hard courts.
The inaugural edition of this tennis tournament took place in 2024, and saw Jannik Sinner defeat Carlos Alcaraz in a thrilling three-set final, while Novak Djokovic claimed third place after beating Rafael Nadal in what became Nadal’s final professional match. The tournament not only celebrates elite tennis but also reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing influence in global sports, backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and its broader initiatives across ATP and WTA platforms.

Everything You Need to Know About the Six Kings Slam 2025
The 2025 edition of the tennis tournament will once again take place in Riyadh as part of the opening events of Riyadh Season 2025. Slated to take place in purpose-built venue designed to accommodate the elite competition. The format is a single-elimination knockout, with two players receiving byes into the semifinals, while the remaining four compete for a spot in the final four. A third-place playoff will also be held between the losing semifinalists. But, who will be the ultimate King of Tennis this year?

Six King's Slam: The Million Dollar Prize Pot
The Six Kings Slam is currently the most lucrative exhibition event in tennis.
According to details for the 2024 edition of the event, it was unveiled that each participant was guaranteed a $1.5 million appearance fee, while the winner took home an additional $4.5 million. So, for ultimate champ, they could be bringing a total prize to a staggering $6 million. It is expected that a similar pay day will be provided for this year's tournament.
This prize pot and player appearance fee surpasses the prize money awarded at any Grand Slam tournament, underscoring the event’s prestige and appeal.

Earlier this month it was confirmed that tennis champion, and the current PIF WTA World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka had officially secured her place at the 2025 WTA Finals in Riyadh. Despite experiencing a crushing loss in the semi finals of the Wimbledon Championships 2025, tennis fans in the Kingdom and wider Middle East will delight in the fact that the world class Belarusian athlete is set to return to Riyadh, for the fifth year in a row as part of the WTA’s season-ending showcase.
