Saudi Airlines Debuts SV by Saudia at Riyadh Fashion Week 2025

Riyadh Fashion Week 2025 carried more than its usual glamour this year.

On day three, Saudi Airlines introduced SV by Saudia, its first lifestyle and ready-to-wear collection, marking a quiet but confident step that reimagines how a national carrier can move beyond aviation. The collection was revealed on The Roof at the Kingdom Centre Tower, a fitting location for a brand inspired by flight.

Presented under the theme “Live to Fly,” the debut didn’t rely on spectacle. Instead, it focused on intent clothing designed for movement, ease, and contemporary life. The line translates the spirit of travel into something tangible: garments that feel as natural on the street as they do in an airport lounge.

The collection includes leather bomber jackets, dresses, and matching sets. While the green and black leather pieces are eye-catching and structured, other designs give a grounded feel  with soft fabrics that are comfortable and feel effortless.

Some outfits have simple layering, with different textures like a sweatshirt over tailored pants, or a polo shirt with sweatpants. Sleeves are full-length, and necklines are clean and straightforward. The colors mix black, green, white, and orange, and some pieces feature thin stripes, while small design cues draw from Saudia’s brand identity. Each piece reflects the airline’s core values of precision, grace, and purpose for contrast.

Behind the Vision

The creative direction, shaped in collaboration with Saudi designer Mohammed Khoja, maintains a steady balance between heritage and modernity. The collection speaks for itself, channeling the airline’s legacy into clothing that feels human and lived-in.

For Saudia, the launch marks a defining shift. SV by Saudia extends its 80-year legacy into lifestyle, showing how travel can exist in more than one form. It also highlights how national institutions are beginning to use design as a cultural language — not just to represent the country, but to express its rhythm and aspirations.

This launch marks the first step for Saudi Airline's venture into fashion. A dedicated digital boutique will follow in November 2025, expanding the story through new collaborations and seasonal releases.
