One of the world's most loved wearables, WHOOP, is officially changing the game for fitness enthusiasts and elite athletes across Saudi Arabia.

The human performance brand has launched a fully redesigned Arabic-language app experience alongside a major campaign across the GCC, giving native speakers unprecedented access to real-time biometric tracking. For the first time, the platform update allows Arabic-speaking members to access their data and metrics on sleep quality, physical strain, body recovery, and overall wellness in their native language.

With WHOOP membership growing over 75% year-over-year across the region, the implementation of data processing in Arabic was inevitable.

This new, updated experience builds on WHOOP’s established ties to elite regional sports, including its partnership as the official health and performance wearable of Al Nassr Football Club, where the Kingdom's top-tier athletes rely on continuous biometric monitoring to optimise physical readiness and inform their fitness strategy. When the partnership was announced in February of this year, John Sullivan, Chief Marketing Officer at WHOOP said, “Al Nassr Football Club is setting a new standard for how elite teams think about readiness, recovery, and long-term athlete health. This partnership reflects a shared belief that sustained success comes from understanding the body, making smarter decisions every day, and committing to the work behind the scenes. We’re proud to partner with Nassr as they continue to push what’s possible in modern football.”

Although the wearable has been embraced by a number of international, professional sporting teams and individuals, the performance tracking tech is also aimed at inviting local athletes, trainers and health-focussed individuals to transform their everyday health habits into actionable, performance-driven results.

By analysing personal baselines across key markers—including Heart Rate Variability (HRV), resting heart rate, and sleep architecture — the app converts complex biological metrics into clear daily actions.

And now, native Arabic speakers can now seamlessly track the lifestyle factors that impact their daily performance and long-term health.

“The response to WHOOP across the Middle East has been incredible,” said Will Ahmed, Founder and CEO of WHOOP. “The GCC has become a major market for us, and we’re seeing strong growth across the broader Middle East and North Africa. We’ve made a significant commitment to the region and we’re going to keep investing here. Launching in Arabic is a crucial part of that strategy.”
