LIV Golf is set to return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for another high-energy tournament, but this time, with an added new twist – night golf.
Scheduled for February 6 to 8, 2025, the Riyadh leg of the tour will take place at the prestigious Riyadh Golf Club, the event promises a unique spectacle with top golfers battling it out under the floodlights.
This information comes on the heels of a successful LIV Golf Invitational Bangkok, which concluded with a dramatic playoff. The upcoming Riyadh tournament will likely see a similar star-studded field, with players like Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, and Bryson DeChambeau vying for the championship title.
The format for the Riyadh tournament will remain the same as previous LIV Golf events: a thrilling 54-hole stroke play competition with no cut. This ensures all players compete throughout the weekend, maximising excitement for fans. Additionally, the top 20 players after the first two rounds will advance to the final two rounds, keeping the pressure high and the competition fierce.
This Riyadh event holds particular significance, as it marks LIV Golf's first foray into night golf tournaments, with tee off set for 6.15pm (KSA time) each evening. This means that spectators can expect a visually stunning display with the course illuminated under the night sky, against the backdrop of the Kingdom's capital. This innovative approach to playing in different time zones, further emphasises LIV Golf's commitment to pushing boundaries and creating a more dynamic and entertaining viewing experience.
Beyond the on-course action, the return of LIV Golf to Riyadh solidifies the city's position as a major player in the world of professional golf.
Following the Saudi Arabian leg of LIV, the competition will move to Adelaide in Australia from February 14 - 16, and then on to Hong Kong from March 7 - 9.

Tickets for the Riyadh leg of the LIV Golf tournament are available right now via the official LIV Golf website. Given the competition takes place over the course of three days, there are three ticketing days available to purchase: the first day of the tournament, the play day, and the final day of the event.
