His Excellency, Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), has officially announced that the seventh edition of Riyadh Season will launch on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
Operating under the globally recognised "Big Time" slogan, the 2026 festival brings a concentrated, high-impact 10-week schedule packed with championship sports, A-list concerts, world-class theatrical performances, and immersive cultural experiences. Following a record-breaking 2025 edition that drew over 17 million visitors, this year's instalment solidifies Riyadh's standing as an international hub for sporting events and global entertainment.
World-Class Sports Headline the Opening Weeks
Sports enthusiasts are set for an unprecedented lineup right out of the gate.
Riyadh Season 2026's opening night on October 21 will also mark the return of the much anticipated Six Kings Slam tennis tournament. Running through to Saturday, October 24, the elite single-elimination exhibition will see the tournament's two-time defending champion, and world number one, Jannik Sinner, battle against other tennis icons like Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz. In addition to this epic line up, Australia’s number one singles player, Alex de Minaur, will also join this year’s tennis edition of Six King's Slam for his tournament debut.
The sporting spectacle continues into November with high-octane combats and combat sports, including confirmed marquee UFC fights, world-championship boxing showdowns, and WWE Crown Jewel, which makes its triumphant return to Riyadh's King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) on November 7.
Adding a new dimension to this year’s cultural landscape, Riyadh will host the Ethnosport Cultural Festival in November, with exact dates and details to be released closer to the time. Organised in partnership with the World Ethnosport Union, the event brings together participants from across the globe to compete in traditional sports — ranging from horseback archery and falconry to ancient wrestling disciplines — accompanied by live art, culinary showcases, and heritage performances.

- Boulevard City: Serving as the vibrant heart of the festival, Boulevard City returns with refreshed interactive concepts, live theatre productions, international comedy shows, and pop-up dining destinations.
- Boulevard World: The hugely popular zone returns to offer a global journey in a single location, featuring architectural pavilions, traditional markets, and cultural performances representing over a dozen nations.
- Al Suwaidi Park: Al Suwaidi Park is one of Riyadh Season’s most popular free-entry zones, celebrating global cultures through vibrant street food, traditional music, and live folklore performances.
- Wonder Garden: The ultimate destination for families, featuring floral displays, a dedicated butterfly sanctuary, and rides.
- VIA Riyadh & The Groves: For luxury lifestyle seekers, VIA Riyadh will host the premier Ana Arabia exhibition alongside luxury retail and Michelin-starred dining pop-ups, complemented by the return of The Groves and the seasonal Farmers' Market.
