Euromonitor International has released their annual travel rankings for the world's most visited cities.
For 2025, European cities like London and Paris continue to appear on the list, however it is the Asia-Pacific region that is surging ahead. Perhaps driven by visa relaxations and regular, direct connections to new destinations around the world, Bangkok has maintained its status as the world’s most-visited city, welcoming over 30 million visitors.
While the top five global spots have remained remarkably stable for 2025, the underlying data shows a sector in flux. With international arrivals up 10% in Asia Pacific and 7% in the Middle East and Africa, the 2025 Euromonitor International rankings illustrate a world where the most successful cities are those that deliver meaningful, personalised experiences amidst a global surge in travel.
