With the announcement that Aqua Arabia Park Hotel in Qiddiya will open in early 2026, the Kingdom’s entertainment capital is preparing to unveil a striking new chapter, one that fuses playful, family-focused energy with elevated hospitality, all within the framework of one of the world’s most visionary giga-projects.

When will Aqua Arabia Park Hotel, Qiddiya open?

The Aqua Arabia Park Hotel, slated to open in January 2026.

Family-friendly and close to all the action, this hotel will be an anchor to the much-anticipated Aquarabia Water Theme Park, the largest waterpark of its kind in the region and the first in Saudi Arabia. The Aquaarabia Water Theme Park is set to include a series of rides that are out of this world, including the world’s tallest water coaster and tallest drop body slide, the world’s longest mat racer and the tallest water slide to be found on the planet.

Nearby will be the Speed Park Track, which will be home to the 70-meter-high Blade, the world's first elevated racetrack corner, and the Sir Nick Faldo-designed championship 18-hole golf course, which is slated to open in 2026 also.

The resort-style hotel is set to cater to many types of visitors, from families to sports fans and will span twelve floors, featuring 550 rooms and suites. Each room and suite will be designed to reflect the playful spirit of the park while offering the kind of comfort and polish expected from a flagship resort. Hotel guests will have direct access to Aquarabia’s 22 waterpark theme rides, including five global firsts. Or if guests prefer to embrace the luxury ambiance of the hotel, the can avail of and unwind at the hotel’s private pool deck and spa, and indulge in a curated selection of on-site dining venues.

But Aqua Arabia Park Hotel is just one piece of a much larger puzzle.

Qiddiya, located just outside Riyadh, is being built as a city of entertainment, sports, and culture.

Backed by the Public Investment Fund and aligned with Vision 2030, the development spans 360 square kilometres and is expected to welcome 48 million visits annually. It will eventually house over 600,000 residents and feature attractions like Six Flags Qiddiya, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, a performing arts centre, and a dedicated gaming and e-sports district.
