Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline, Flyadeal is expanding its European footprint. This time, a new route to Italy's fashion capital, Milan has been announced.
Introducing its first direct routes next month, linking both Riyadh and Jeddah with Milan, Flyadeal will be operating regular flights out both of King Khalid International Airport and King Abdulaziz International Airport respectively, until the end of September 2026.
As part of Flyadeal's summer schedule, the Kingdom's leading budget carrier is deploying its Airbus A320neo fleet to serve Italy’s commercial and fashion capital via Milan Bergamo Airport. This strategic European expansion offers both business and leisure travellers a highly competitive, non-stop alternative to full-service carriers on these prominent paths between the Gulf and Italy, whilst also opening up a link to other European destinations.
Flights from Jeddah will begin from July 1, with a three-times-weekly schedule operating on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Whilst the Riyadh connection is set to commence on July 2, also running three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. These routes will come to an end on September 26, 2026.
This flight carries an estimated duration of six hours and fifteen minutes, significantly strengthening Milan Bergamo Airport's growing connectivity with the Gulf region.
