Diriyah is often referred to as the historical heart of the Kingdom, and now the ancient city is poised to welcome a new level of sophisticated living with the announcement of Armani Residences which are soon to open.
Diriyah Company made the announcement at the end of last week, during their prominent presence at MIPIM, a four-day property and real estate trade show in Cannes, France.
Set to be situated within the culturally rich landscape of Diriyah, just outside Riyadh, these homes promise to redefine luxury living in the Kingdom: where the timeless elegance of Italian luxury design meets the profound heritage of the Kingdom. Every detail, from the architectural design to the interior finishes, reflects the signature aesthetic of Giorgio Armani brand, known for its understated refinement and impeccable craftsmanship.

Residents can expect spaces that are both luxurious and inviting, designed to provide a sense of calm and well-being. Using a harmonious blend of textures and tones, it is expected that these designer residences will pivot on the idea of serene sophistication. There will be a total of 90 residences available, each with the exteriors tastefully honouring Diriyah's ancient legacy in a style that thoughtfully reflects Najdi architecture whilst also embracing the idea of curated, modern luxury.
Spanning 1,200 to 1,900 square meters, these homes come in three distinct layouts: The Palm Residences, The Botanical Residences, and The Royal Penthouses. However, there will be just 15 of these bespokely curated and fully furnished residences that have been designed by Giorgio Armani himself.
A first for Diriyah, this much-anticipated collaboration between the Armani brand and Diriyah Company marks a significant moment for luxury living in Saudi Arabia. It’s a testament to the Kingdom’s commitment to creating exceptional experiences that blend tradition with contemporary elegance.
Armani Hotel Diriyah
Announced in 2022, a signature Armani Hotel in Diriyah will be managed by the Emaar Hospitality Group, and is expected to echo the elegance of Armani's Dubai and Milan hotels, while uniquely reflecting Diriyah's historic landscape. Located within the 300-year-old birthplace of the Kingdom, the hotel will overlook Diriyah's luxury quarter, featuring 70 rooms, two restaurants, a spa, and 15 exclusively and bespokely designed Armani-branded residences.
Armani Hotel Diriyah will integrate seamlessly into the pedestrian-friendly Diriyah development, a project honouring traditional Najdi architecture and Saudi heritage. Similar to the residences, the hotel's design will embrace traditional design and materials to enhance and complement the Diriyah's cultural richness, which includes the UNESCO World Heritage Site At-Turaif.
The continued announcements of new and branded hotels, in addition to luxury residences, acts as a key component of Saudi Vision 2030 of enhancing living standards in the Kingdom, providing work for local Saudi Arabians and encouraging international investment and travel within and to the nation.
The soon-to-open Armani Residences and Hotel in Diriyah are more than just stylish dwellings; they are a lifestyle, a statement, and a new chapter in the story of refined living in the region.
