Air France has once again raised the bar for luxury travel with the unveiling of its new La Première suites, a breathtaking re-imagination of flying First Class.
Drawing inspiration from French sophistication and its long-standing 'art de vivre', these exceptional suites promise an intimate sanctuary in the sky, seamlessly merging comfort, privacy, and modernity.
The redesigned first class suites will make their inaugural appearance on routes between Paris' Charles de Gaulle and New York's JFK airports in spring 2025, with destinations such as Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo's Haneda Airport to be added this summer, according to media report.
Over three years in development, Air France’s new La Première suites span across five expansive windows—a distinctive hallmark exclusive to Air France. Each suite encompasses nearly 3.5 square meters of private space, 25% more than the current configuration, delivering unmatched comfort and exclusivity.
Passengers are greeted by a fully customisable travel capsule and environment featuring both a luxurious seat and a chaise longue that elegantly transitions into a two-meter-long, full-flat bed. The plush leather seat is ergonomically sculpted and adorned with Air France’s iconic winged seahorse emblem, reflecting the airline's heritage and detailed craftsmanship.
Adjacent, the chaise longue invites travellers to recline, read, or unwind while watching one of two 32-inch ultra-HD 4K screens offering more than 1,500 hours of entertainment—accessible from any position.

Welcomed news for discerning travellers, privacy is paramount in La Première.
Thick, floor-to-ceiling curtains encase each luxury suite, creating a peaceful and private cocoon. For those traveling together, double occupancy centre suites include electronically operated, full-height partitions—offering flexibility between shared moments and personal retreat.
Designed in collaboration with STELIA Aerospace, Design Investment studio, and SGK Brandimage, the interior evokes sophistication through a palette of greys, delicate red highlights, and champagne-metallic accents. Full-grain leather, fine wool textiles, and custom-designed materials form a cohesive, immersive environment. To maintain openness, traditional overhead compartments have been removed in favour of floor-level storage solutions, including a dedicated wardrobe, a spacious sliding drawer for hand luggage, and a compartment with a backlit mirror.

Natural light floods the cabin through five panoramic windows, further enhanced by advanced electric shades that adjust from translucent to blackout with a tap.
Each suite integrates high-tech comfort without sacrificing aesthetics: passengers are able to enjoy wireless charging pads on the arm rests of the chair, USB-A/USB-C ports, traditional power outlets, and Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones. An intuitive touchscreen tablet puts control in passengers’ hands, allowing adjustments to seat position, lighting, and window settings, along with seamless access to the entertainment system - all in one place.
Every element, including the gourmet menu has been meticulously designed, and Air France have ensured that personalised service is at the heart of this experience in these La Première suites. Passengers travelling in this new luxury flight class will also receive a set of bespoke Jacquemus pyjamas, only available in this class, and a luxury amenity kit that includes Sisley skincare products.
The luxurious new La Première suites will debut aboard a specially retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, aptly named Épernay, in spring 2025.

This is the latest in a series of product upgrades by the French carrier. Last year the airline opened a dedicated check-in lobby and private lounge at Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport reserved for first-class travellers.
With this reimagined La Première experience, the airline continues its journey toward premium excellence—offering more than just travel, but a story of timeless elegance written across the skies.
