Over the past few years, Abu Dhabi’s hotel scene has undergone a total transformation. There’s now a huge range of choice, from relaxed, beachy eco-resorts to quirky entertainment-themed accommodation, and of course, the palatial destination hotels that the emirate is famous for. Excellent service, top-tier facilities and a warm welcome are the norm in all these new places to stay. And while Abu Dhabi does have a reputation for luxury, the UAE’s capital also offers a surprising number of budget-friendly options that offer great value for money.

The best places to stay tend to be on Abu Dhabi’s islands for easy access to their beaches and attractions, or downtown to be close to the city’s action and iconic landmarks. These are some of our favourite hotels in Abu Dhabi.
