Slated to take to the skies by Q3 of 2025, Riyadh Air will be Saudi Arabia's newest and most luxurious national carrier.
And in an announcement made this week at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, the hotly anticipated airline is aiming to further redefine global aviation with the signing of 11 strategic agreements or 'Memoranda of Understanding' designed to expand its international presence, enhance the travel experience, and showcase the Kingdom’s rich culture and hospitality.
Finalised during the internationally attended ATM event in Dubai's Trade Centre district, these partnerships will establish the airline’s footprint across more than 125 countries.

As Riyadh Air prepares for its official launch, its ambitious vision includes connecting with over 100 destinations worldwide by 2030, contributing $20 billion to Saudi Arabia’s economy while revolutionising the way travellers experience luxury in the skies. Originally set to debut in early 2025, the launch timeline has been adjusted due to an international delay in the delivery of the airline’s first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, a key milestone in its operational rollout.
Already pushing the envelope with competitive and cutting-edge digital solutions, in addition to an integrated and AI-assisted booking process to ensure a more tailored and seamless experience for modern travellers, Riyadh Air is poised to set a new standard in aviation. Senior VP Osamah Al-Nuaiser emphasised the airline’s commitment to delivering exceptional service across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, ensuring that every journey is as effortless as it is elegant.
Approved by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation in April, Riyadh Air is now one step closer to takeoff. As the Kingdom continues its strategic push into global tourism and business travel, Riyadh Air’s entrance into the market signals not just the rise of a new airline but the dawn of a refined, future-focused travel experience.

By September 2024, Riyadh Air will integrate noon Payments, ensuring a seamless, secure digital payment system. This partnership enhances convenience, broadens payment options, and optimises the booking experience for travellers.
