As the new water taxi service has been launched during Ramadan 2025, we currently only know the reduced schedule for this fasting period. Two vessels will service the inaugural route running daily from 3:30pm to 1:30am during Ramadan.

Fares range from SAR25 - SAR50 per trip, however children can take a trip for free. The water taxi service has been made fully accessible for people of determination, with dedicated entry and exit points at each station and four assigned seats on each boat.

The Jeddah Transport Company (JTC) has developed a dedicated app to facilitate easy booking and access to information about the water taxi service. This user-friendly app allows passengers to purchase tickets, track routes, and stay updated on schedules.

At the moment two modern vessels are currently in operation, servicing these three new stations; one boat with a capacity of 94 passengers, and the other with a capacity of 55 passengers. It is expected that once fully operational, this new transportation system will service a daily passenger capacity of 29,000.
