In recent years, and indeed in recent months, it has become increasingly evident that Saudi Arabia is on the cusp of, if not already in the midst of a tourism revolution.

The Kingdom is redefining its narrative and inviting discerning travellers to experience the pinnacle of luxury and explore the impressive landscapes of Saudi Arabia. With massive music festivals, world class sporting events and seasonal celebrations such as Riyadh Season, in addition to an increased number of direct flights now linking the Kingdom with numerous European and Asian destinations and the recent opening of the Riyadh Metro, the Kingdom's accessibility and allure to new and returning visitors is on the rise.

One project at the forefront of the Kingdom's hospitality transformation is Tuaja Luxury Resorts.

Announced to be position in Al-Ahsa and operated by Hilton in March 2024, but confirmed to be a visionary new brand launched by Dan Company, a PIF-supported company just this week, this ambitious project aims to redefine luxury hospitality in the Kingdom.

Inscribed as a UNESCO Heritage Site in 2018, Al-Ahsa was recognised for its "evolving cultural landscape", as the region showcases a harmonious balance between modern living, the destination's historic sites and of course, the rich natural environment. Tuaja Luxury Resorts will offer unparalleled experiences that blend the country's rich cultural heritage with modern luxury.

A Trio of Extraordinary Experiences

The first three Tuaja Luxury Resorts, operated by Hilton, will be located in Al-Ahsa, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its lush oasis and rich cultural heritage. This strategic location will provide guests with the opportunity to explore ancient historical sites, experience local traditions, and indulge in authentic Saudi cuisine.

Encompassing a vast 1.8 million square meters, this development will position Al-Ahsa as a premier farm-based tourism destination. Visitors can explore the region's lush landscapes, experience its agricultural heritage, and discover its unique cultural and natural attractions.

Tuaja Luxury Resorts will unveil three distinct concepts, each designed to cater to diverse traveller preferences:

Tuaja Premium Farm Resort: This resort will immerse guests in the heart of nature, offering hands-on agricultural experiences, farm-to-table dining, and luxurious accommodations. Guests can indulge in everything from harvesting fresh produce to learning traditional cooking techniques.

Tuaja Eco Resort: A serene escape for those seeking tranquility and wellness, this resort will provide a tranquil sanctuary. Guests can unwind with yoga, meditation, and spa treatments, all while surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The resort is committed to sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly practices throughout.

Tuaja Adventure Resort: For the thrill-seekers, this resort will offer a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and water sports. Guests can explore the diverse landscapes of Saudi Arabia, from rugged mountains to pristine coastlines.

A Sustainable Future

Sustainability will be at the heart of Tuaja Luxury Resorts. Each resort will incorporate eco-friendly practices, such as water conservation, waste reduction, and renewable energy usage. By prioritising environmental responsibility, Tuaja aims to create a positive impact on the local community and preserve the natural beauty of Saudi Arabia.

As Tuaja Luxury Resorts continues to expand, it will introduce a new era of luxury travel in Saudi Arabia. By offering unique and immersive experiences, the brand is poised to attract discerning travellers from around the world.
