Shebara reveals first official images of Red Sea's newest resort

The wait is finally over — Shebara’s first official photos have been revealed, just weeks before the Red Sea’s most-talked-about luxury resort opens its doors to guests in November.

So far, we’ve only seen virtual renders and a few sneak peeks posted on social media, but now the real deal has been released — and the five-star hotel's orb-shaped overwater villas are even more striking than imagined.

The pictures show the resort shimmering in the bright Saudi sunshine, with the shiny metal structures appearing as if they were a string of pearls floating above the turquoise waters of the Red Sea.

Things to do at Shebara

Beyond the natural beauty that surrounds Shebara, guests will enjoy premium amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness centre plus exceptional cuisine at five top-class restaurants.

Guests at the resort in the Al Wajh Lagoon — a short seaplane hop or a 45-minute boat ride from the mainland – can also relax in a nature-inspired spa sanctuary with five luxurious treatment rooms surrounded by sun, sea and soft, white sand.

Developed by Dubai-based Killa Design and first announced in November last year, it is Red Sea Global's first hotel project and the fourth to open in the new luxury destination.

Red Sea Global CEO 'immensely proud'

Writing on LinkedIn, Red Sea Global's Group CEO John Pagano said: "We're immensely proud to open our first owned and operated resort, Shebara, to the world.

"This is yet another remarkable milestone for Red Sea Global and Saudi tourism. This luxury, truly one-of-a-kind resort embodies our commitment to innovative design and sustainable tourism.

"This is our fourth resort to open at The Red Sea, featuring 73 spectacular overwater and beachfront villas, each carefully built off-site to preserve the pristine surrounding marine environment.

"Reservations are now open for November. We invite you to experience Shebara – where innovation meets timeless beauty."

Among the 73 rooms and suites, there are also several inland residences evoking the surrounding sand dunes, with each set apart to give guests a "sense of privacy".
