Described as an 'unparalleled sanctuary', the Middle East's first Dior Spa is set to open in Dubai.

Opening on February 1, luxury hospitality stalwart The Dorchester Collection will bring luxe Downtown destination, The Lana to life in Dubai's Business Bay.

For those with a new year's goal pivoting on self-care, alongside this indulgent new hotel opening comes the launch of the very first Dior Spa in the region, and the first luxury spa to be solely operated by the designer brand outside of Europe.

Paying homage to the special relationship between designer Christian Dior, and the Dorchester Collection’s iconic Parisian institution, Hôtel Plaza Athénée — the original home of Dior Spa Plaza Athénée — Dior Spa The Lana will be a first outside of Europe.

In the 2010s, the brand ventured into the opulent spa experiences at the EsSaadi Resort in Morocco. The successful collaboration unfolded (and continues to operate) within EsSaadi's The Palace Spa, where one section the spa is dedicated as the Dior Institut, offering a curated range of experiences utilising Dior products.

This move by Dior marked a notable chapter in the world of designer wellness offerings.

With an opening date of April 15 marked in the diary, the Dior Spa will be an indulgent escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Set on the 29th floor with floor-to-ceiling windows, guests will be treated to expansive views over Downtown Dubai skyline, including the iconic Burj Khalifa, and the Dior Spa will cover an area of 4,305-square-feet.

The spa's decor has been curated by Gilles & Boissier, a French interior design duo. Pivoting on tasteful tranches of boucle and swathes of neutrals, complemented with splashes of the fashion house's hallmark Toile de Jouy motif print in navy and white, and beige and cream, the Dior Spa will perfectly pair and indulgent spa experience with the undeniable haute couture feel of the brand.

As the first Dior Spa outside of Europe, there will be several signature treatments available to indulge in. The unique and original wellness therapies will include; Dior Stone Therapy, Dior Skin Light, Escale and D-Sculpt.

The Dior Stone Therapy will combine soft massage strokes with strategically placed semi-precious stones and facial dermabrasion techniques using sapphire gems. Whilst, taking place on a futon-style treatment bed, Escale will introduce guests a uniquely Japanese inspired ritual, where traditional techniques fuse with innovative relaxation methods through deep and slow massage strokes, releasing the pent up tensions of daily life.

For those interested in optimising the glow of LED therapy, the Dior Skin Light will use an LED mask to promote cell rejuvenation, encourage anti-aging collagen production, and reduce inflammation. For a full body glow up, the D-Sculpt treatment is for you: a full body massage with toning and slimming attributes, including dry brushing, aims to deliver the ultimate relaxation whilst also resulting in anti-cellulite and 'skin lifting' benefits.

The panoramic sanctuary will of course, have a full range of lavish treatments including manicures and pedicures, which will be available to both men and women. Featuring just five individual treatment rooms, alongside a double suite space for couples, the Dior Spa will ensure that every visit feels special.

Those who love Dior Skincare will be able to purchase the brand's much-loved array of products, as well as products from a number of other collections including fragrance and beauty.
