The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is officially set to return to the streets of Jeddah for the 2027 championship, with organisers confirming the high-octane spectacle will take place along the Red Sea coast from March 19 to 21, 2027.
This race will serve as the second leg of the Middle Eastern opening swing just one week after the season opener in Bahrain, the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix promises three days of ultra-fast racing, world-class entertainment, and global motorsport talent.
The 2026 Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was originally scheduled to take place between April 17 to 19, 2026 but was officially cancelled due to regional security concerns and conflict in the Middle East. Formula 1 and the FIA confirmed the race could not go ahead as planned alongside the Bahrain Grand Prix, opting not to reschedule or replace either event for the 2026 season. This decision created a five-week pause in the 2026 racing calendar between Japan and Miami, reducing the overall season to 22 rounds while shifting the Kingdom’s full focus to its return in March 2027.
The Race Track
The 2027 race will once again be hosted at the spectacular Jeddah Corniche Circuit, universally recognised as the fastest street track on the global F1 calendar.
While the long-term vision for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix includes a future transition to a state-of-the-art, purpose-built motorsport and entertainment hub in Qiddiya Speed Park near Riyadh, the move remains on hold while construction progresses. To ensure continuity and maintain the Kingdom’s momentum on the world stage, motorsport authorities have extended Jeddah's hosting rights through 2027. The Red Sea waterfront destination has undergone continuous track refinements, including safety wall modifications and chicane profiling, ensuring it remains an elite setting for driver speed and overtaking action.
Are tickets on sale for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2027?
Yes. It's good news for Formula 1 fans; tickets are already on sale for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix taking place in Jeddah early in the new year.
At the time of writing, three tiers of tickets are available to buy for the 2027 edition of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: General Admission, Grandstand and Hospitality. Each ticket tier has been designed to cater to a variety of attendees, from local and international Formula 1 fans alike.
General Admission
General Admission tickets range in price from SAR 100 to SAR 442 per person, these prices are mainly based on the number of days access a guest would prefer. Guests can book one-, two-, three- and four-day tickets within the General Admission range.
