When it comes to embracing the spirituality of the Holy Month of Ramadan, home decor often plays a significant role in creating a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere for Iftar and Suhoor gatherings.

Fresh flowers arrangements, delicately scented candles casting a soft glow, and intricately crafted artwork adorned with Arabic calligraphy are all elements that come together to infuse the home with an inviting ambiance, exuding warmth, charm, and a distinctive cultural touch.

As the evening meal or Iftar plays such a pivotal role during Ramadan, the dining table often acts as the community hub: it is where the family comes together to break fast, it is where food is enjoyed after a day of fasting and it represents an extension of the community soul after evening prayers.

So, often during this period, families look to enhance this dining experience by incorporating timeless and luxurious tableware, a selection of vibrant or themed napkins and placemats, complemented with candles, lanterns and flowers; each element contributing to the indescribable essence of Ramadan.

The Collection

Ahead of the Holy Month, Saudi lifestyle and home fashion brand, aura Living launched its Ramadan Collection for 2024. The collection includes unique dinnerware and an array of décor and table accessories in rich jewel tones with gold accents, and intricate patterns. Marble and wooden elements also add to that touch of elegance, and each piece has been designed to capture the spirit of the Holy Month's gatherings.

aura Living has showcased their Ramadan collection in an ambient dinner setting in the heart of Al Qarah Mountain in Al Ahsa.

The magical dining experience included a table setting that is adorned with lanterns, accent pieces, and plates, underneath the star-studded sky and picturesque views of the mountain.

The sundial, a focal point of the Astrolabe Exhibition at the Islamic Art Biennale in Saudi Arabia, serves as an inspiration for the Yasmin & Estelle tableware collection, combining artistry and history. The design of porcelain dinnerware and metal tabletop pieces have been reinterpreted to accommodate these historical timepieces, dating from 1505 to 1647.

The best-seller of the Ramadan collection is the Jenaih Coin Collection, reimagined by the intricate details on the famous coins from King Abdul Aziz al Saud's reign.

For art lovers, the Mia collection, in collaboration with designer Sandy Kurt, features arabesque geometric patterns and smoke-grey tones, creating a fusion between tradition and modernity.

If you're looking to balance the traditional with modern luxury, the detailed accent pieces from the Pearl Inlay collection could be perfect for your decor choice. Combining traditional design elements with a modern twist, the cultural significance of pearls on trays and platters embody hospitality.
