As the iconic Masters 2024 wraps up in Augusta (with a green jacket win for Scottie Scheffler), there is still plenty of golf to look forward to this month, namely, the Saudi Open 2024.

Its all eyes on Riyadh this weekend, as Golf Saudi and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) come together to host the seventh edition of Saudi Open 2024.

When will the Saudi Open start?

Teeing off on April 17, the Saudi Open will see some of the best and biggest stars of the sport come together over four days to compete for the title and glory of Open champion, and a coveted prize pot of over SAR 3 million or USD$1 million.

Ahead of this competition, local and international golf stars came together for the Saudi Open in December of 2023, with Denwit Boriboonsub of Thailand taking top spot but now they're back for more for a second edition, as part of the Asian Tour.

LIV Golf captain Henrik Stenson is set to headline the Saudi Open this weekend, alongside other names like Andy Ogletree, Eugenio Chacarra and David Puig also on the card.

What else will be happening?

Of course, although it is all about golf, it can't all be about golf, so visitors can also expect a number of activities at the on-site Sajah Bazaar. The market and bazaar will include a fan-zone with live DJ sets, alongside an array family friendly activities such as putting green challenges, driving range and a dedicated play area for kids.

Every evening from 4pm - 11pm visitors will be able to wander around the Sajah Bazaar, and the various food stalls.

The fan zone will open on Wednesday and Thursday from 1-11pm, and on Friday and Saturday for the whole day from 9am-11pm.

There are several types of tickets available, including general admission weekday tickets from SAR50, and general admission weekend tickets from SAR75. Or a four day general admission ticket costs SAR150. Under 18s go for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
