However, the private business travel industry — both to and from the Middle East — is booming, and this is evident as German aviation company Lufthansa, introduce four brand new Boeing B777X business jets to their expanding fleet.

Capable of travelling long-haul, over 21,000km, this wide-bodied aircraft will set new standards in luxury and convenience for discerning business travellers — but has a hefty of $400 million price tag.

Introduced just this week, during the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition held in Geneva, this Boeing B777X private jet will cater specifically to unique needs of Lufthansa's Middle Eastern business clients.

Although still in the concept development stage, guests are set to step into the lavish interior, passengers will be greeted by a spacious majlis—a Middle Eastern-inspired setting adorned with a crescent-shaped sofa and a decorated using a contemporary colour palette of white, grey, bronze and brushed gold.

The sleek lines and geometric patterns, featured in both decor and lighting, are notable elements reflective of Islamic architecture and are reminiscent of Middle Eastern art seamlessly flow throughout the entirety of the jet's interior cabins, creating an ambiance of refined elegance.

Within the expansive 342-square-meter cabin, sits a fully-functioning conference room, six first-class style suites, 32 lie-flat business seats alongside additional seating areas, bedrooms and restrooms.
