With the arrival of summer and the mercury rise, Hacked Bakery have added a selection of delicious ice-cream bombs to its menu.
From the outside, these ice-cream balls look like just an ordinary perfectly spherical scoop of ice-cream, until you dive in. Your favourite ice cream flavour is rolled in a topping such as biscuit crumbs or sprinkles, but once you take a spoon the delicious filling spills out, adding a whole different dimension to this dessert.
The secret of this ice-cream lies in its melty, molten core.
Presenting six different flavours, Hacked Bakery ensures that each has a unique twist.
The Caramel Pecan Flavour is a scoop of creamy vanilla ice-cream rolled in crushed pecan nuts and filled with a rich caramel sauce. Of course, you can add any other crumbs of your choice too. And the Cheesecake Flavour is a refreshing cheesecake filling flavoured ice-cream, filled with your choice of blueberry or strawberry compote, covered in a good handful of biscuit crumble.
Other customer favourites include the Sprinkles Flavour where a scoop of vanilla ice-cream is rolled in sprinkles and has a centre of strawberry sauce that exceeds expectations. The Oreo Flavour does exactly what it says on the tin; vanilla ice-cream is rolled in crushed Oreo pieces, but surprisingly filled with a refreshing lemon centre.
But it's Hacked's Special Flavour that stands out by a mile. This flavour is a combination of the bakery's much loved, freshly baked cookies and the new ice-cream bomb. The ice-cream is a blend of creamy, vanilla with small pieces of Hacked's amazing cookies, complemented by a core of sweet Nutella chocolate.

If you have a sweet tooth like we do, you might also want to grab one of Hacked’s delicious stuffed cookie before you leave. We recommend choosing the 'Double Triple' cookie, which contains a layer of gooey chocolate inside and the dough is packed full of chocolate chips as well. Don’t forget to get a cup of coffee to balance out the sweetness.
