The global motorsport spotlight returns to the Kingdom as tickets go on sale for the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix. Taking place on December 18 and 19 under the floodlights of the iconic Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the high-octane double-header marks the official launch of the 2026/27 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
This year carries heightened significance as the coastal city plays host to the opening rounds of the championship for the very first time. Fans in Saudi Arabia will witness history in motion, taking in the competitive world debut of the groundbreaking GEN4 race car alongside the unveiling of Formula E’s high-speed "E-Prix Unleashed" sporting format.

The GEN4 machine heralds a massive technical leap for electric racing. Built as the only single-seater race car with permanent all-wheel drive, the GEN4 delivers a staggering 50 per cent increase in race-mode power compared to its predecessor. Beyond reaching top speeds in excess of 335 km/h, the car launches from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 1.8 seconds and hits 200 km/h in just 4.4 seconds — a full 1.5 seconds faster than previous models.
When drivers activate Attack Mode, output surges up to 600 kW, representing a 71 per cent boost over base output. These engineering advancements are set to dramatically transform track dynamics, with lap times in qualifying mode projected to run an average of 10 seconds faster than earlier generations.
Beyond the Circuit
The high vibe action extends well past the trackside boundaries. As usual, the event grounds will host an expanded Fan Village packed with interactive zones, state-of-the-art gaming arenas, and family-focused entertainment. Following the podium ceremonies, ticket holders will gain exclusive entry to live concerts featuring major international headline artists, with lineup announcements coming soon.
