As of October 11, you'll be able to get right in on the action of Riyadh Season's hottest sporting event - in video game format.
It's going to be a knockout at this year's Riyadh Season, with major boxing events like Latino Night and the IV Crown Showdown opener crowning the line-up. And Saudi sports fans and gamers are preparing to get their hands on now the hotly anticipated boxing video game 'Undisputed', dropping in later this week.
Announcing the launch, General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh said the title will feature a "star-studded roster, cutting-edge fight mechanics and real-world boxing organisations". It’s been over a decade since the last release, and players will be able to step into the ring and experience into what developers Steel City Interactive promise is the most "visceral, authentic, and interactive" gameplay yet.
Under a partnership signed last year, players will see the Riyadh Season brand within the video game and will have access to a virtual version of the Saudi capital's Kingdom Arena.
The game includes several exciting features, building on the major popularity of previous licensed titles like EA's Fight Night Champion: Undisputed's 'loose movement modifier' will let players and their chosen sports person flow with ease, dodging and closing in like a seasoned fighter with more than 60 different punch combinations to choose from.
The game includes more than 70 licensed fighters, including a fully-fledged women’s division, with more names promised to follow.
It’s not just the moves that’ll make you feel like you’re in the ring — from the sweat on the boxers’ brows to the stitching on the gloves, every fighter has been scanned with the latest tech, making each bout as real as it gets. Backed by major organisations like the WBC and British Boxing Board of Control, players can gear up with big names like Everlast, Rival, Cleto Reyes, and Adams Footwear — the same gear the pros use.

Undisputed has been available in Early Access on Steam since January 31st this year, and now it's gearing up for the official launch. The video game will land on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on Friday following the launch at Riyadh Season.
Pre-order now, and you’ll get a shot at Roy Jones Jr. in his prime—circa 1993, when he clinched the IBF Middleweight title in a legendary match against Bernard Hopkins.
