Indulge in Red Sea panoramas with minimalistic, chic luxury at BOA Beach

About an hour north of Jeddah, in Khaleej Salman, you'll find BOA Beach, a relatively new opening on the shores of the Red Sea, offering visitors a rare coastal experience that is equal parts serene, raw, and community driven.

As one of the first destinations to open in this up-and-coming area, BOA has positioned itself as a pioneer, one that blends unspoiled natural beauty with thoughtful curation and a strong sense of place. With its wide, unobstructed sea views and strong emphasis on privacy, this recently opened beach club is quickly carving out its space on the map of Saudi Arabia’s growing coastal offerings.

BOA is defined by its setting, with the beach stretching along virgin, undeveloped shoreline, offering 180-degree panoramic views of the Red Sea. Instead of high-rises, crowds, and interruptions, you’ll find open sea, soft sand, and clear water. Additionally, the team behind BOA has worked to improve the sand’s quality and the water’s saltiness while maintaining the beach’s natural character. There’s also a clear environmental commitment woven into BOA’s identity, with efforts to preserve and elevate the surrounding ecosystem alongside its growth as a tourism destination.

Designed for Privacy, Simplicity, and Community

At its core, BOA is intentionally minimal. The beach experience is centred on simple comforts: a stretch of well-maintained shoreline, sun loungers, and towels included with entry. For those seeking to freshen up, there are a handful of trailer-style rooms with showers and changing areas, however visitors are encouraged to bring their own toiletries. Lockers are available for an additional fee.

Despite its stripped-down character, BOA feels polished thanks to the attentive service, peaceful atmosphere, and respect for seclusion. Music plays softly throughout the day, curated to suit the time and tone: calming and ambient in the early hours, more rhythmic in the afternoon, and mellow jazz as the evening sets in. With its 6am opening time, it’s a  favourite for sunrise seekers, who come to meditate, walk, or simply watch the sun rise over the water.

While other beach clubs may focus on spectacle, BOA is content to keep things understated. Rather than being a spot for heavy programming or expansive facilities, it offers a retreat for those who value privacy, natural surroundings, and low-key social connection.

BOA also distinguishes itself through its dedicated women-only days, made even more appealing by its secluded location, which offers a rare sense of privacy and comfort for female guests. On Mondays and Wednesdays, children are welcome, though boys must be under the age of 10, while Saturdays are for adults only, making it an ideal day for women looking to disconnect completely.

This intentional scheduling has helped BOA build a loyal female community, setting it apart from other public or semi-private beaches in the region. Safety, comfort, and respect are central to the experience, and the seaside escape’s layout supports those values.

Activities and Relaxed Recreation

BOA avoids the high-adrenaline activities found at other beach clubs, but offers a gentle lineup of recreational experiences that complement its laid-back vibe. There’s a volleyball court and space for beach ball games. Families will find stand-up paddle boards, inflatable floaties, and sandcastle tools for kids to enjoy.

Indoors, a board game room adds a social dimension to the beach experience, inviting guests to take a break from the sun and reconnect over classics and casual play.

Beach Bar

With a menu developed by an American chef and shaped by a team with a background in hospitality, it reflects real care and attention to detail, making BOA’s food and drink options a highlight. The beach bar serves fresh juices, mocktails, and beach crowd-pleasers like pizzas and burgers. There’s also a breakfast selection with manakeesh and egg dishes – perfect for those early birds. A kids’ menu is available too, making it easy for families to enjoy the day.
