Tucked away in northern Obhur, about 30 minutes from central Jeddah, Le Pont de l’Amitié is a serene beach escape designed with women’s needs in mind.
Inspired by the whitewashed charm of the Greek islands, with bright blue windows and doors, mosaic details, and sandy shores lapped by crystal clear waters, it’s one of Saudi Arabia’s special havens for women who adore to be surrounded by the big blue.
However, Le Pont is more than just a pretty shore as it also offers wellness options with its fitness classes and spa, the latter adding an extra layer of calm that makes the retreat all the more restorative. Music is kept at a soft, pleasant volume, with a mellow mix of trending Arabic and English tracks enhancing the tranquil atmosphere.
This isn’t a party beach; it’s a place to reset, reconnect, and choose yourself first.
Women-Only escape
Entry to the picture-perfect seaside spot is restricted to female guests only and everything from the beach layout to the amenities reflects a strong sense of ease, discretion, and care. And to protect that privacy further, photography is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Fitness and Wellness
The wellness angle truly sets this beach club apart. Curated fitness classes – yoga, strength training, and Pilates – are held in a studio that overlooks the sea. When the weather permits, the classes, which are included in your entry fee, move to the lawn for a fresh-air workout with an ocean backdrop. The schedule is updated regularly and shared on Instagram, so it’s worth checking before your visit.
The Spa
At the heart of this beach-cum-wellness getaway is the boutique spa, one of the only dedicated spa offerings available at a women-only beach in Jeddah. Designed to extend your relaxation beyond the shore, the spa is a tranquil refuge for indulging in head-to-toe care.
The treatment menu is extensive, from expert nail services, including gel polish, extensions, and classic care, to a carefully curated selection of massages that cater to everybody and every need. Hot stone, reflexology, cupping, and pregnancy massages are all on offer, delivered with professionalism and care. A must-try is the Herbal Thai Massage, performed by trained Thai therapists and beloved by regular guests for its deeply curative effects.
Whether you're coming in for a full wellness day or slipping away for a post-swim treatment, the spa at Le Pont transforms your beach visit into an invitation to wind down, reset, and walk away fully renewed.
Facilities
Le Pont’s rectangular pool, about six metres long, is ideal for light laps or kid-friendly splashing. Additionally, the padel court is available to book onsite or in advance for SAR90 per half hour, with rackets and balls included. Right next to the court is a small outdoor playground, reinforcing Le Pont’s family-friendly touches. Water sports enthusiasts can also rent a kayak for SAR100 per hour. And once your favourite activities and treatments have been checked off, the showers are stocked with shampoo and shower gel, although you will want to bring your own hairdryer.
Private events can be booked at Le Pont, with its picturesque setting making it an ideal venue for intimate celebrations or gatherings by the sea.
Business Lounge
Le Pont’s business lounge serves as a calm, beautifully furnished indoor retreat with a beach house aesthetic, ideal for relaxing, working, or hosting quiet meetings. Designed for comfort, privacy, and productivity, the space features high-speed internet, printing services, a smart TV, a coffee corner, a private toilet, and comfortable seating. Whether you’re taking remote calls, catching up on emails, or simply needing a quiet space to recharge, the lounge offers a refined environment away from the sun.
Two-hour access to the lounge costs SAR150, with guests having the option to book a combined admission and lounge package at SAR360 on weekdays and SAR395 on weekends. The lounge can also be booked per hour, at a cost of SAR75.
Snack Shack
The cafe menu is light and casual – think croissants, burgers, mozzarella sticks, fries, hash browns, snacks, and sweet treats, including ice cream. Drinks include hot and cold coffee and tea, and fresh juices, like watermelon or mint lemonade. While the selection is limited, there’s enough to get you through your beach day, though you might want to plan a meal before or after your visit.
Pricing
Entry is SAR 250 on weekdays and SAR 287.5 on weekends. Children are welcome on weekends, with entry at SAR 100, except for those under three who enter for free. Towel rental is available for SAR 15 if you don’t bring your own.
