International Art: Madinah Arts Center hosting global talent

Running from August 11 through to September 1, the iconic Madinah Arts Center is hosting an international symposium of art from more than 225 artists.

Opening in 2018, the center stands as a testament to the Kingdom's support of and commitment to nurturing contemporary art. Now, intrinsically woven into the cultural fabric of Madinah, the Madinah Art Center paints a portrait of a city that cherishes its past while ardently embracing the boundless horizons of artistic innovation.

Although Madinah is renowned for being a prominent pilgrimage destination, but it is a region that holds some of the Kingdom's most historically, artistically, and culturally enriched communities. And, this essence finds its vivid manifestation in the Madinah Art Center.

The Madinah International Art Symposiums is showcasing more than 700 pieces of art, encompassing a diverse array of artistic expressions such as 3D installations and creations, photography, Arabic calligraphy, and Islamic ornaments. From contemporary to abstract, the symposium showcases a number of different painting styles.

Acting a cultural and artistic exchange, over the next number of weeks, attendees will be able to take part in a number of workshops, discussions and tours of the exhibition.
