From fireworks to festivals and fly-bys, the nation will come alive this weekend in celebration of Saudi National Day

The Kingdom will celebrate the 93rd Saudi National Day on September 23.
National Day marks the anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom, and is celebrated each year with various events, activities, festivities, fireworks and of course, a public holiday for all. As the heat subsides and the rhythm of the city quickens, this month marks the celebration of a dynamic and invigorating chapter in the unfolding tale of this captivating region.

Azimuth, AlUla
If you're a true Azimuth fan, you'll already know all about this year's line up.
International musicians from around the world will take to the stage over this weekend music festival; from the iconic Peggy Gou to great sounds of The Kooks, Saint Levant and Jorja Smith, alongside much loved local and regional talents like Dish Dash, DJ Baloo and Husa and Zeyada.
Taking place amidst the remote desert surrounds of AlUla, Azimuth 2023 will bring together both local and international talent and a crowd of music obsessed fans for a weekend of non-stop dancing. Showcasing music artists known for creating incredible electro, dance and hip-hop and more.
Boulevard City, Riyadh
Returning as a pivotal centre for celebrations during Boulevard City will be returning once again, with a few exciting updates and changes. 60% of the events and experiences at Boulevard City will be new, the area includes shops, event spaces and dining experiences.
And, ahead of Riyadh Season kick off, the newly revamped and extended Boulevard City will celebrate Saudi National Day with an impressive fireworks show.

Jeddah Promenade
Hanging around Jeddah for the National Day holiday?
There is still plenty to do. Including a massive fireworks display that is set to take place from 9pm on September 23.
The Summer Vibes Festival also continues along the Jeddah Promenade. Expect bright pink, Miami Beach vibes: you'll find bright pink monkeys hanging from above, giant pink pineapples and aqua green palm trees, and surfboards in various shades of pastels and pops of colour. For the children, there are sandpits to explore, pastel ball pits and even old school fairground rides like the horse carousel.The family friendly festival is open all day and into the evenings, with the entire festival area is decorated with fairy lights, the perfect way to embrace the last moments of summer and enjoy time with family.
Riyadh
Residents in Riyadh will be treated to an air show on both Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 23 at 4.30pm.
Saudi Arabia’s Armed Forces will take to the skies above the city just the north of Prince Turki Bin Abdulaziz Road at Umm Ajlan Park in the Al-Qayrawan district. Anyone living in Riyadh should be able to see an incredible array of modern jets including high-powered machines such as F-15s and Typhoons.
There will also be celebrations at Umm Ajlan Park, including a Royal Guard March to acknowledge and celebrate this year's theme of 'We Believe, We Achieve' on Friday, September 22.
