These are the new Riyadh Season zones you need to visit

The count down is on for Riyadh Season 2023.

As we all know the city of Riyadh is sectioned off into 'zones', with each zone hosting unique entertainment or following an immersive theme throughout. A number of popular zones are set to return for Riyadh Season 2023 including Boulevard City and Boulevard World.

However this year's edition of the seasonal, multi-month celebration will also include an array of brand new zones. With an expanded footprint and new sites, this year's edition will cover more than 7 million square meters of entertainment and a never-ending itinerary of events, you will need to keep your energy levels up to take it all in.

Al-Murabba

Although not brand new, the Al-Murabba zone will return in a different form.

Previously a temporary zone, the Al-Murabba zone is now becoming a permanent feature of the season. This square will be abuzz with new dining experiences and unique cafes to visitors to try throughout Riyadh Season.

 Visitors will find an array of fine-dining restaurants and cafés, as well as local and international stores at the Al-Murabba zone, including the confirmed Fouquet, French dining destination straight from Cannes - La Californie and a wholesome and traditional Italian restaurant, Le Grand Venise.

Boulevard Hall

A brand new destination, Boulevard Hall will be purposely build just for Riyadh Season. Not only is Boulevard Hall absolutely massive, the entire structure was erected in just sixty days.

Declared the official home-pitch of the Al Hilal football team, Boulevard Hall is a new zone that will cover an area of more than 200,000 square metres. This expansive site will accommodate more than 40,000 visitors at any one time. The new stadium will also have 20 VIP boxes and a sky lounge with a capacity of 360 people.

Riyadh Zoo & Al-Suwaidi Park

The Riyadh Zoo has increased its footprint by 25%, and will not only have more animal attractions for visitors to see, but the area will also include the Al-Suwaidi Park.

Visitors will be able to take in all the incredible wonders the zoo has to offer, including a selection of hands-on experiences with the animals such as feeding the elephants. The new Riyadh Zoo zone will host a number of diverse cultural events here, in addition to various wandering musical performers making every moment of your visit magical.

Souk Al-Awalain

Bringing an authentic shopping experience to locals, residents and visitors, the Souk Al-Awalain is a lively shopping market district. And the souk will host the largest weekly auction seen in the city. The Souk Al-Awalain will also be the location of region's largest heritage market. With plenty of choice, and an undeniable atmosphere, you're bound to buy something.

Wonder Garden

Although sadly, Winter Wonderland will not be returning to Riyadh Season 2023. An exciting new addition will be taking its place - Wonder Garden!

The zone has been renovated and updated, and the Wonder Garden zone will encompass four amusement park 'gardens'. Covering more than 500,000 square metres, Wonder Garden will be home to the largest mobile amusement park built and amusement park fans will have more than 85 games and experiences to discover.

Due to the expansive space Wonder Garden will have a new location, north of the city to accommodate visitors and ensure parking facilities are available.

Although technically not just a zone for Riyadh Season, the luxurious shopping mall will of course be getting involved in the action, and is said to be hosting some fun experiences and events throughout Riyadh Season 2023.
