When does Riyadh Season begin?

Riyadh Season 2023 is a three month mega-event that will take place all over the city of Riyadh. Although some events will begin to warm up locals and visitors from October 25, the season will officially kick off on 28 October with one of the most exciting events in the season's calendar.

Riyadh Season is one of the world's largest annual festivals, that runs over Saudi’s winter months. Usually the celebratory season runs through util the early new year, meaning there is plenty of exciting events ahead.

This year's edition will be the fourth return of the celebratory season, and once again the season and the city will be divided into multiple zones around the capital. With an expanded footprint and new sites, this year's edition will cover more than 7 million square meters of entertainment and a never-ending itinerary of events, you will need to keep your own fitness and energy levels up to take it all in.

On Saturday 28 October Riyadh Season 2023 will kick off with what could possibly be the most anticipated boxing match of the Q4.

Inside the ring at Battle of the Baddest, two-time, and undefeated heavyweight boxing world champion Tyson Fury will take on the French-Cameroonian, mixed martial arts expert, Francis Ngannou, in the athlete's boxing debut.

With an exciting headline event, the Battle of the Baddest event will also feature several exciting fights on the undercard. Three exciting heavyweight fights are expected to take place on the same night as Fury v. Ngannou, and these will be followed by one super welterweight head-to-head.

Riyadh Season 2023 will take place across 12 distinct zones around the city, meaning that this year is obviously bigger and better than ever before.

Several zones and sites have been revamped to extend the footprint, there are also new zones being introduced for the very first time, meaning that if you visited last year - you have new reason to visit this year and explore all the new areas, events and entertainment!
