Boulevard City will host a music tribute concert honouring Baligh Hamdi

There are many exciting events taking place through Riyadh Season 2023, and a brand new music concert has just been announced for next week.

On November 9, from 7pm several talented Arabic musicians and singers will take to the stage at Riyadh Season's Boulevard City.

Baligh Hamdi, an Egyptian composer and songwriter, who left an indelible mark on the landscape of Arabic music.

Renowned for his exceptional talent, Hamdi was a maestro in crafting melodies that echoed throughout the Middle East. His genius lay in his ability to blend traditional Arabic music with contemporary elements, creating timeless compositions that remain beloved across generations.

With a career spanning decades, Hamdi's work was not only impactful in Egypt but also extended its influence across the Arab world, and of course, globally, leaving an enduring legacy that continues to inspire and shape the realms of Arab music.

It has been 30 years since the passing of Hamdi, and to honour his works and incredible talent, a number of talented regional musicians from across the Middle East will perform some of his greatest classics.

Guests can expect incredible live performances from massive names such as Saber Al-Rubai, Majed AlMuhandis, Asala, Angham, Talal Salama, and Nancy Ajram.
