This is your first look at the revamped Boulevard City

Riyadh Season 2023 has officially kicked off, and we're diving into the details of this year's celebrations.

With plenty of new zones, there has also been a revamping and redevelopment of some of the most popular Riyadh Season zones, including brand new experiences, dining options and fun events. And, this is your first look at the season's brand-new take on Boulevard City.

Boulevard City

Returning a pivotal centre for celebrations during Boulevard City will be returning once again, with a few exciting updates and changes. 60% of the events and experiences at Boulevard City will be new, the area includes shops, event spaces and dining experiences.

As one of the most popular zones, Boulevard City remains free to enter and enjoy.

However, there are some activities within the newly renovated zone that you will need a ticket to enjoy, and they can be booked online via webook.com. Ticket prices are less than SAR80 per person for most events and activities.

Boulevard City will include new experiences such as Barbie World; a unique Barbie exhibit showcasing great pink, sparkly and Barbie-inspired Instagram opportunities and of course you'll also be able to view some Barbie-inspired works of art.

There is the Barbie camper van, and an interactive Interstellar Barbie space ship where kids (and big kids) and play pretend.

Other family friendly experiences will include Blippi Wonders, where the children's character Blippi comes to life for an educational show.

Of course, this year, one of the biggest surprises of the season will be the excitement of the iconic Disney Castle. Celebrating 100 years of the animation house, the Disney Castle will become a magical centre piece of Riyadh Season 2023.

Immersive Experiences

Go head-to-head with friends in a digital reality game of Zero Latency. This is a multi-player, free-roam interactive and immersive video reality game. Choose between a 30 minute mission or a 60 minute mission. Bringing your gaming dreams to life, but do you have what it takes to survive this mission?

Another top-tier VR Experience will be hosted by House of Hype. House of Hype will be the largest immersive entertainment park experience that connects the real world to the world of virtual reality.

Get your adrenalin pumping at Five Nights at Freddy's. This is a thrilling, terrifying and electrifying escape room / house experience, and most definitely not for the faint of heart.

Mike Tyson Boxing Club

Boulevard City will also be the destination for any avid boxing fans, or those wishing to learn more about the sport, as for the first time, the zone will be the location of a Mike Tyson designed boxing and striking gymnasium.

Former amateur boxer and award-winning boxing trainer, Joe Gallagher will head up the Riyadh location. The flagship Riyadh location was officially opened in the hours after the Battle of the Baddest clash between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou, with more locations are expected to open across Asia, Europe and The United States in the coming year.

Sporting Museums

Football fans will be kept entertained with not one, but two museums dedicated to football and icons of the sport.

Brand new to Boulevard City is The Legend Museum. Dedicated solely to football, fans will be able to see more than 30,000 iconic items, artefacts and exhibition pieces upon their visit to this new museum. The Legend Museum is supported by the Spanish football league, La Liga.

There will also be a La Liga Café where sports fans can refuel and recharge ahead of the endless exciting events.

And, what would football be without Cristiano Ronaldo?

To celebrate the world's champion and the nation's newest resident, the football superstar will have a museum dedicated to his football journey, undeniable skill and legendary status. The CR7 museum will showcase the sportsman throughout his lifetime, and his continuous sporting achievements.
