A historic moment is on the horizon as the prestigious America's Cup, the oldest sporting trophy worldwide with origins dating back to 1851, ventures to the Middle East later this month.

Jeddah is an exquisite coastal city, and was chosen as the exclusive location for this regatta outside of Spain. The selection was based on Jeddah's exceptional sailing conditions and the unique opportunity it offers to witness the race from the stunning shores of the Red Sea.

This event is set to attract the finest sailors globally, engaging in an adrenaline-pumping competition aboard the lightning-fast AC40 yachts.

Positioned along the scenic Corniche coastline, viewers and sports enthusiasts are in for an enthralling treat, with an up-close and personal front-row perspective of the exhilarating action. The vessels, reaching astonishing speeds of nearly 100 kilometres per hour, promise a racing experience that is nothing short of mesmerising, offering an unforgettable spectacle for all those in attendance.

The prestigious yacht race features fierce competition between teams from different countries for the coveted trophy. And Jeddah is set to host the region’s first-ever America's Cup event ahead of the main race in Barcelona, Spain in 2024. With views over the corniche and the Red Sea, this preliminary race is set to be a spectacular event!

Jeddah's Corniche will be a prime spot for the general public to witness the high-octane action of the AC40s zooming past at speeds up to 100 kilometres per hour. Offering expansive viewing areas, the Corniche ensures spectators are treated to an up-close experience of the thrilling America's Cup.

As the designated location for the America's Cup Race Village, this iconic area will transform into a hub for fans seeking the ultimate race-watching experience. Best of all the Race Village will be free of charge to visit, and visitors can expect live entertainment on the main stage, ensuring the vibes are high throughout the event.
