According to details released under the guidance of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), the fifth edition of the Riyadh Season festivities has welcomed four million visitors in less than four weeks.
In its first week, it was confirmed that more than 2 million visitors attended events and checked out the seasonal zones at Riyadh Season 2024.
Ahead of the opening night boxing showcase, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and Ciara delivered electrifying performances that transported the audience back to the golden age of hip-hop and R&B.
But, the fifth season of Riyadh Season truly began with the first fight-night of the season: the IV Crown Showdown, where Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol battled it out to be crowned the ultimate champion in the world's light heavyweight division. The first week also saw the opening of Boulevard World and Boulevard City, in addition to the Mike Tyson Boxing Academy and the Ronnie O' Sullivan Snooker Academy.

The 2024 edition of Riyadh Season is bigger than ever before, and spans across more than 7.2 million square meters.
And the number of visitors continues to grow and grow each week.
This surge in popularity so early into the start of Riyadh Season 2024 is likely driven by the festivities and diverse array of entertainment options, from thrilling wrestling and boxing matches to world-class concerts and unique experiences. This season boasts 14 zones and will host 11 world championship sporting events, including tennis, boxing, and MMA. Additionally, over 10 exhibitions and several groundbreaking new openings contribute to the excitement.
Returning zones such as Boulevard World have been updated with new destinations, exciting events and attractions, whilst locations such as Al Suwaidi Park, Souq Al Awaleen and Riyadh Zoo are free to visit - making this year's festivities more accessible than ever before.
