The Saudi Music Commission, one of the 11 sector-specific commissions operating under the Ministry of Culture, has officially announced the launch of Riyadh Music Week 2025 (RMW25).
Set to take place from December 4 to 13 in the Kingdom's capital city of Riyadh, this initiative is framed as a world-class celebration focused on music, culture, and innovation in the heart of the Kingdom. RMW25 is designed to be a crucial platform that unites the music industry with partners across various sectors, serving as a powerful catalyst for the further growth and expansion of Saudi Arabia’s music industry while bridging local and global talent.
The event will feature headline partnerships with SRMG and MDLBEAST, mobilising an expansive citywide program that includes performances, conferences, and creative community activations. This diverse lineup is set to platform Riyadh as a leading dynamic hub for the Middle East’s rapidly growing creative economy.
The comprehensive program will incorporate international industry summits, including the International Music Managers Forum, the Music Makers Summit, and XP Music Futures. It will also feature open-call “Fringe” events, with curated musical experiences spread across heritage sites, art districts, cafes, and hotels, specifically designed to bring music to every corner of the city.
Beyond the headline performances, RMW25 will host policy and education forums, music tech showcases, and discussions on cross-sector innovations, ensuring the platform's impact resonates far beyond the duration of the event itself.
