The strategic alliance between the new Kingdom's new national airline and the internationally renowned golf event was unveiled at Riyadh Aiport, by Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas and LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil.
Starting this week with the League‘s season-opening event at the Riyadh Golf Club, the partnership lends itself to further underscore the airline's commitment to sports as a key pillar of its growth strategy.
To celebrate this news, several of the world's top golfers, including Bryson DeChambeau, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Joaquin Niemann, and Jon Rahm, attended a photocall after the announcement at Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport.

LIV Golf's New Night Golf Experience
Scheduled for February 6 to 8, 2025, this year's Riyadh leg of the tour will take place at the prestigious Riyadh Golf Club, the event promises a unique spectacle with top golfers battling it out under the floodlights.
By introducing night golf tournaments, with tee-off times scheduled for 6:15 PM (KSA time) each evening, these night golf events taking place as part of the Riyadh leg of the tournament, showcases LIV Golf's commitment to innovation and creating a more dynamic and entertaining viewing experience for fans around the world.
Following the Saudi Arabian leg of LIV, the competition will move to Adelaide in Australia from February 14 - 16, and then on to Hong Kong from March 7 - 9.

Riyadh Air Will Launch in Q3
Riyadh Air's initial launch timeline, set for the first half of 2025, has been adjusted due to a delay in the delivery of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, a crucial step in the airline's operational readiness. Despite this unexpected delay in aircrafts, Riyadh Air will continue to work closely with Boeing to expedite aircraft delivery and finalise all necessary operational procedures to ensure a successful launch in the third quarter of 2025.
