The Kingdom's objective is to host the first environmentally friendly World Expo with zero carbon emissions. The number of metres squared, upon which Riyadh's Expo 2030 site is set to be built. It is estimated that the Riyadh Expo 2030 site will receive approximately 41 million visitors, many from the local and surrounding regions, and many more from around the globe. This offers the nation further opportnity to share our culture, heritage and national pride with the world.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that $343 million would be made available to supporting 100 countries during Riyadh Expo 2030. This investment will help these countries in areas such as pavilion construction, maintenance, technical support, travel, and hosting events.
1 Billion
Almost 1 billion visitors are expected to experience Riyadh Expo 2030 via the Metaverse. Embracing the growth of experiences via digital spaces, will further make Expo 2030 accessible to more people, and extend the reach of the Expo beyond just on-the-ground visitors.

It was confirmed in June 2023, that Saudi Arabia has allocated $7.8 billion worth of investments for Expo 2030.
