Riyadh Season 2023 has arguably been the most successful season to date - and these new visitor figures confirm it!

In September, Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority's (GEA) Board of Directors, estimated that Riyadh Season 2023 would attract between 10 and 12 million visitors over the event's six month term. However this predicted figure was entirely surpassed, with the fourth edition of Riyadh Season drawing more than 12 million visitors in just the first two months alone.

Living up to this season's appointed theme of 'Big Time!', the latest edition of the Riyadh Season celebrations has attracted more than 18 million visitors according to the latest figures released and confirmed.

This is incredible achievement for the event, and for the city of Riyadh.

But, is it any surprise when a number of brand new zones such as the Food Truck Park, Wonder Garden and Boulevard Hall were introduced. A number of sporting and music events have taken centre stage this season, drawing international crowds, including a swathe of internationally renowned sports-people and celebrities.

From internationally watched boxing bouts to tennis showcases with the top seeded players in the world, to exciting football games with living legends Ronaldo and Messi going head-to-head, and the soon-to-be first MMA Super Fight in the Kingdom - there have been a number of events that will go down in Riyadh Season history: the upcoming 2024 season set to begin in the final quarter of this year, has a lot to live up to already.

With an estimated two months left of the 2023/2024 edition of Riyadh Season, could final visitor numbers reach 20 million? Only time will tell!
