Nestled in a valley between the natural rockface of NEOM, and along the coastline of the Gulf of Aqaba, the region's newest development, Siranna, will take on an interesting character - consist of a series of stepped, hexagonal buildings.

Designed by global architectural studio, Woods Bagot, the impressive valley structure is set to mimic the unique features of tumbling natural basalt rock formations found in the Giant's Causeway of Ireland, and the Devils Postpile in California.

Accessible only by water, the tranquil and secluded Siranna will straddle the mountains, nearby wadi and the coastline, and guests will enjoy a backdrop of the natural cliff face. Perched on the coastline of the Red Sea, the ultra-luxe Siranna will feature just 65 suites and rooms, and 35 residences.

Guests will enjoy a number of pools, including rooftop hexagonal lagoons, an exclusive beach club and state-of-the-art spa and wellness facilities, alongside other activities that will be focussed around the natural environment such as horse riding and hiking.

Developers have designed and created Siranna with “...the guiding principle underpinning the development is to ensure minimal intervention in nature, where thoughtful and deliberate techniques will be used to preserve the surrounding landscape.”

Located in the north-western Tabuk Province, NEOM boasts an expansive and pristine landscape, showcasing a diverse panorama of mountains, valleys, wadis, and beautiful stretches of beach. And the region plays a pivotal role in the futuristic plans of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 plan.

A harmonious blend of the contemporary and the natural, NEOM features a number of modern, striking developments that are planned to sit against the region's rustic, rugged landscape of mountains, valleys and coastline. Each development aiming to create a unique escape, and will boost tourism in the region, and to the country whilst also creating jobs and spurring on the local economy.

The NEOM region has been central to a number of the Kingdom's most ambitious projects such as The Line, and most recently announced, the Sindalah Golf Course, Discovery Tower & Leyja.

August saw the announcement of Robert Trent Jones Jr designed Sindalah Golf Course, a 9-hole, par-70, luxury, beachfront golf course that is set to attract golf enthusiasts from around the world. Following this, in October it was confirmed that a brand-new eco-tourism destination will be developed – Leyja.

Lavish hospitality chain Our Habitas confirmed it will create and run three uniquely designed hotels operating on the pivotal core themes of Wellness, Oasis or Adventure.

In the same month it was confirmed that Discovery Tower will become the pinnacle of the Trojena skyline. Described as a 'crystalline' structure, Discovery Tower is set to stand out as an icicle of sorts, stretching to a height of 330-metres tall, it will be designed by famed architectural firm Zaha Hadid Architects.
