Saudi Arabia is officially gearing up for its debut as the host of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027. Tickets officially go on sale today, Friday, May 15.
The month-long football series will run from Thursday, January 7 to Friday, February 5, 2027. This year marks the 19th edition of this prestigious football tournament marks a historic milestone for the Kingdom, which has rapidly become a global hub for world-class sporting events.
Mr. Yasser Al Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, emphasised the significance of the tournament’s preparation: "This announcement goes beyond simply identifying locations and schedules; it reflects the ongoing high-level collaboration between us and the AFC as we work towards delivering an exceptional tournament that fulfils the aspirations of the entire Asian continent."

The final draw has mapped out the journey for the 24 competing nations, promising high-stakes fixtures from the opening whistle. The host nation, Saudi Arabia, leads Group A in what is expected to be a fiercely contested regional bracket, while the United Arab Emirates will face a challenging path in Group E alongside the South Korea.

Access to the matches is available through the Ahlan website and app, with prices designed to be accessible to a wide range of supporters. General admission starts at SAR 30, while premium-category tickets, offering an enhanced match day experience, are available from SAR 100.

The tournament will be played across three major cities, utilising a mix of iconic existing landmarks and cutting-edge new developments. The Kingdom's capital city of Riyadh sits at the heart of the action, hosting both the opening match and the prestigious Final at the King Fahd Sports City Stadium.
The capital’s line-up of venues also includes the Kingdom Arena, King Saud University Stadium, Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud University Stadium, and Al Shabab Stadium. Whilst in Jeddah, football fans from across the Kingdom and indeed the region will head to the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium. The city of Khobar, in the Eastern Province, is set to debut as a destination on this tour, with games set to take place the all-new Aramco Stadium, it is expected that the the semi-finals will take place here.
