New Horizons: Riyadh Air partners with Saudi Tourism Authority to offer enhanced travel experiences

Riyadh Air has partnered with Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) to elevate the nation's newest airline to new heights, before it even officially takes off.

Announced just this week at the Arabian Travel Market 2024 (ATM) in Dubai, the new partnership will introduce fresh routes and destinations, building on the ambitious Riyadh Air plan to fly to 100 destinations by 2030.

With the first flights for Riyadh Air planned to take off from 2025, the premium airline's collaboration with STA promises to the further 'enhance (the) travel experience for travellers'. Of the new partnership agreement, the CEO of STA Fhad Hamidaddin said, "Increasing Saudi's connectivity with the world is a key pillar of our tourism strategy and will ensure we sustain our (the Kingdom's) rapid growth and meet our new ambitious target of 150 million visitors by 2030."

Riyadh Air, STA and Vision 2030

Even before its inaugural flight, Riyadh Air is already primed to have a significant impact on increasing and encouraging travel to and within the Kingdom, and will play a pivotal role in achieving and exceeding tourism objectives for Vision 2030.

Through this newly announced partnership with STA, Riyadh Air will be able to broaden its horizons and in turn enhance consumer experience, by offering a broader range of destinations for travellers. The collaboration is deemed a win-win both for inbound and outbound visitors, and for the commercial aspect of the collaboration. It is expected that in the coming months Riyadh Air and STA will together unveil an array of exciting new routes and destinations.
